Tags are specific criteria that can be created and added to both People and Projects in LaborChart. Tags can be filtered in order to better organize and quickly find Projects and People that match your needs. Tags can also have Categories, which provide more opportunities for organization in the platform. This article will walk you through creating Tag Categories.

Getting Started

To add a new Tag Category, navigate to the Settings Page, the select the Tags tab on the left side menu.

From here, you can toggle to enable Tag Categories if you don't already have them enabled.

Select the blue New button to add a Tag Category. Enter the desired Category and select Save.


Once you have added a new Tag Category, you can add Tags to that Category. Select the Edit button next to the desired Tag and select the category that it should be grouped with from the Drop-Down menu.
