Overview

All of your People in LaborChart have the option to have phone numbers attached to their profiles. Depending on your company's permission settings, you may or may not be able to view those phone numbers. This article will explain why.

Sensitive Information

If you are searching for someone's phone number, and you are running into the issue of not being able to see anybody's phone number, then your Permission Level may be the cause.

When your company set up your LaborChart User account, they selected a Permission Level with custom access to denote what information you are able to see, edit and create.

In addition to Custom Permission Levels, LaborChart also includes a Settings option for Sensitive Fields. Sensitive Fields are pieces of information that are hidden from all Permission Levels - unless the level Common Sensitive Fields include, but are not limited to:

  • Phone Number
  • Email
  • Home Address
  • Gender

If your Permission Level is preventing you from viewing needed information, then you will need to reach out to your internal Admin User to update your Permission Level.

Note: The LaborChart team does not have access to change your Permission Level. If need be, please contact your system Admin.
